Every Divine Liturgy (Eucharistic liturgy) is a celebration of and participation in the death and resurrection of Christ. It is important to recall that the death of our Saviour is only the door through which we must go in order to come to the Resurrection: We bow to Your Cross, O Master, and we glorify Your Holy Resurrection!

Christ’s self-sacrifice allows us access to His Resurrection. At the opening of the Divine
Liturgy we stand on the verge of the Resurrection and the celebrant proclaims: Blessed is
the Kingdom of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We are God’s Eucharistic people. This is why the spirit of every Divine Liturgy is joyous and extols
God’s graciousness.

We see this in numerous elements: the Sunday antiphons are resurrectional and even the daily ones are similar; the celebrant wears bright vestments; we do not kneel (kneeling is a sign of penance which is part of our preparation for the Liturgy); we receive the Holy Eucharist (Christ is with us because of His Resurrection); and finally
the closing proclamation on Sunday: Christ who is risen from the dead.

The Divine Liturgy is an ongoing liturgical participation in Christ’s Resurrection and our existence as God’s people who live in His Resurrection.

Кожна Божественна Свята Літургія (Євхаристійна літургія) це святкування і
учащання в смерті та воскресінню Ісуса Христа. Тут відразу мусимо собі пригадати що смерть Спасителя це тільки немов двері через які мусимо перейти щоби дійти до Воскресіння.

Пригадується нам постний тропар: Хресту Твоєму покланяємося Владико і Святе Воскресення Твоє славимо! Задля Христової само-пожертви ми маємо доступ до Його Воскресіння. Коли починається Божественна Літургія ми вже стоїмо

напередодні воскресіння і священнослужитель проголошує: Благословенне Царство Отця, Сина, і Святого Духа … ми Божий євхаристійни люд. Тому настрій кожної Бож.

Літургії є радісний і величання Божої ласки. Ми це бачимо в наступних елементах: антифони в неділю є воскресні але навіть в будні вони є майже однакові; служителів ризи є світлі; ми не клячимо (клякати це вияв покути – це підготовка до Божественної Літургії); ми приступаємо до Пресвятої Євхаристії (Христос є знами задля Його воскресіння); і кінцевий виголос в неділю: Христос, що воскрес із мертвих, істинний Бог наш … Божественна Свята Літургія це постійне літургічне пережиття Христового Воскресіння і нашого буття як Божий люд котрий живе Його Воскресінням.
