Let us glorify Him!

Чи хто би подумав, що народження маленької дитини в маленькім, незначнім селі в малозначній країні могло б змінити світову історію?

Our Lord, our God takes on our human existence today and thus demonstrates to us an unbelievable truth: God’s love for us is so complete that, as St. Paul says: Who, although being in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, He emptied Himself taking the form of a slave. The Son of God gives up His place alongside the Father in order to show us the perfect love that God has for us all.

So we are called to glorify Him. But how can we do this, when God is so far beyond us? Paul answers our question: we are called to be like God – loving to the same extent that God has loved us all. St. Paul says: Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 

It is when we do this – love one another completely – that we fulfil the promise of today’s Epistle reading: to live together as children of God, members of one holy family.

May this celebration of the wondrous gift of God’s love bring peace and joy to us all!

 Народження Ісуса Назарянина це найбільше чудо в історії людства – бо ж це сам Бог стає людиною – та здійснюється в неймовірний спосіб Божа обіцянка бути з нами та учащати вповні в наше людське життя. Воднораз ця подія надає значіння до слів псалмопівця: що є людина, що Ти пам’ятаєш про неї, і син людський. . . а однак учинив Ти його мало меншим від Бога, і славою й величчю увінчав його!

Свято Різдва це одночасно свято Божої любови котра вповні виливається на нас в особі Ісуса Христа і це є свято людини і всього Божого сотворіння котре стає носителем Божества!

В цей радісний день, день любови і миру, складаємо всім нашим парафіянам, гостям та Вашим рідним найщиріші побажання. Молимо Всевишнього щоби новонародженне Дитятко принесло Вам радість і мир а найголовніше по всі дні життя Вашого превеликий дар Божої любови!
